Olusola Alexander Esq. is a prolific writer and consummate commercial practice lawyer. He is a Principal Partner and the Solicitor of the firm. He has specifically handled matters on Digital Privacy, formation of companies, company compliance, vetting of diverse contracts in different fields of law, negotiation of contracts on behalf of clients and actively involved in the publication and editing of diverse legal books. He was part of the team that worked on Babalola’s Law Dictionary of judicially defined words and phrases as well as an integral member of the committee on Babalola Law Dictionary Quiz Competition, an annual quiz competition for young lawyers in Nigeria.
Legal Practice has taken him to firms such as Lanre Adedipe and Co. Chambers; Gbade Olagbaju Law Practice; and Gboyega Amusan Chambers before moving to Olumide Babalola Legal Partners LP where the crux of his legal practice was built and developed. He proceeded to start a legal consultancy firm under the registered name Alex-Olusola Solicitors before becoming a partner of the firm.
He is both a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Christian Lawyers’ Fellowship of Nigeria having obtained his Bachelors of Law (LL. B) from the Great Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School. His quest for knowledge led him back to the Great Obafemi Awolowo University where he bagged a Master’s Degree (LL. M) in Commercial law, Property Law, Administrative Law and Corporate Law and Finance. He also has Masters in International Commercial Law at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Unpublished books and Articles written by him include ‘The tort of Passing Off in the Nigeria Copyright Law’; ‘Nigeria Capital Market: Law and Practice’; ‘The Concept of Electronic Banking under the Nigerian Legal Structure’; ‘Legal Opinion on the decision in Ufomata’s case’; ‘Analysis of Regulatory and Statutory Laws on Long Term Gas Supply Contracts: EU and Nigerian Perspective’; ‘The Use of CCTV and Data Privacy’; among others.
